summer vacation?

its summer vacation but it def. doesnt feel like it.
All it has done is rain. it feels like we've already been out of school for months. Im bored of summer. This isnt unusual though, because I dont like summer and I never have. I would rather be busy at school with homework and such. Next summer is going to be wayyy too long since college gets out in May. What is the purpose of summer vacation really?
