disappointment.

Its funny that i have another post entitled almost the same thing and speaking how about how i have never been so disappointed. Well, im going to make that strictly disappointment in self and this one disappointment in things out of my control.

I was supposed to attend the Lady Gaga concert this weekend. I have wanted to go for over a year. In November, i received an early Christmas present of tickets to her show. I was ecstatic. It was by far one of the best presents i had ever received. Today, it is one day before the concert. Today, I found out it was cancelled.

Since I am a follower of Lady Gaga on twitter, i assume that her show was cancelled because of her heart problems in the past few days. I feel bad for her. I cant imagine letting thousands of fans down because of something out of her control. She travels from city to city every day. No wonder she is exhausted and her body is breaking down.

Despite how I feel for her, I cant hide the insane sadness I feel from not being able to attend the concert. I have been crying for half an hour.

I know many people do not like Lady Gaga because of her different outfits and lyrics to her songs. Lady Gaga is unique from all other artists. She wears different clothes because she wants to show her fans that it is alright to be yourself, to wear what you want and say what you want no matter what others might say. Lady Gaga is a true artist. She is a SINGER and PIANO PLAYER and not just someone who wanted to be famous, lip syncs all her songs and does things just to look hot. Lady Gaga was a student at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts--becoming a student there is not an easy task.

I waited a year for this concert and have never looked forward to something so much. Maybe one day she will reschedule and come here again and I will be able to go.
