blogging

Who do you blog for? is it for you to get thoughts out or so people can hear about whats happening in your life?

I blog for me. I like writing for other people too, but the point of the blog is like a virtual diary. Whether I write 5 words or 5 paragraphs, it is probably what I would write if I had a pen-on-paper diary. For me, it is easier not to feel bad about neglecting a blog for a few days and hard to not feel bad neglecting a book.

so, why do you write? do you keep a journal as well?

  1. I've been worried about you since your blog has been on private for a few days! Glad to see you're back.

I blog for me. It is my journal and unfortunately it replaced my real journal.

But, since blogging, I've met a lot of new and different people and I really appreciate the fact that I've met them through blogging. I get to find other people with similiar interests/life walks.

But I don't think I write for them. I write for me; I guess it's me being selfish. I don't sugarcoat my posts; it's my real life.

When I happen to get comments from people who agree/or have similar experiences it makes me feel like I'm no so crazy/weird after all :)

  2. I write for me too. It's like my journal...I don't have a pen and paper one. I've considered making mine private a few times, but I have met some great people through blogging so for now I leave it public. Cute new layout by the way!
