a happy reunion.

This week's writers workshop from Mama Kat's Losin It had many prompts that would have been good to write about here. the one i am choosing though, because I was going to write a post about it anyway is "a happy reunion".

This past weekend, two people I reallyyy missed showed up at my house (well, I knew they were coming so I guess they didnt really just show up). It was weird to see them after 5 weeks, especially since we lived together for eight months.

I hoped things would be the same and conversations would be just as easy, and they were. We instantly started talking and hanging around and enjoying ourselves.

You dont realize how much all the time is, until you live with 3 other people. Five weeks without two of those people was lonely.

Movie nights were reinstated and talking until late. We went to our school one day and were so lucky and happy to see that the door to our new room was open. We ventured inside to take pictures and imagine what our future space would be decorated with. Swimming was fun--with underwater picture taking and cannonball lines.
Two of us taught the other how to pump gas and the other learned some stuff about mint oreo ice cream (sort of an inside joke but..whatever)

This is a short post, but, our time together was fun and it was so exciting to be reunited after such a long time.
