The end of August/the beginning of September is pretty much my favorite time of the year. Its the days spent counting down to the start of school, buying new supplies and packing as much as possible into the 14/15 hours of awake time.
Of course, college has changed everything.
I have a few days until move in but my shopping is done. My room is adorned with things that needed to be new and stuff I didnt have last year but now need. Instead of packing up my backpack with the perfect, colorful folders and notebooks, I am stuffing clothes into boxes and figuring out how to put everything in the car.
The end of summer used to be carefree and fun--getting every drop out of the time left but now, its mostly stress.
There is so much to pack, so much to do, so many people to say goodbye too. For every meal until I go back to college, its booked with someone.
While it might be stressful now, I cant wait to get back to school. Its been the longest summer ive ever had. Typically, a summer would be around 10 weeks long. This year has been around 15. While it doesnt seem like that much longer, trust me. It is.
So, while I am packing, moving in, getting adjusted again, having fun, seeing all my friends my blogging will be more sporadic. I will post some school related things when I get there but for now, my mind cannot process anything but a packing list, boxes and appointments.
